Many of you have come to enjoy spending time at Soul Coffee at the church house (accessible through the back door of the church -- follow the signs from the narthex) on Sunday mornings between our Worship services (9:30-11:00 a.m.). It's a wonderful time of fellowship, fairly traded coffee and tea and delicious munchies. Join us this Sunday!

Lent, in the United Methodist Church, is a time of repentance, fasting and preparation for the coming of Easter. It is also a time of self-examination and reflection, with a focus on our relationship with God.
As we enter into the season of Lent, you are invited to consider this relationship and share your reflections with others. Members of the Worship Committee are gathering Lenten devotionals to create a collection for distribution and sharing within our congregation in 2011.
If you wish to participate, please take time to write a devotional and send it via email to Mark Neil or in writing to the church office. Or, if you a have a favorite devotional that someone else wrote, feel free to send that, along with the name of the author or source. Next year we will be able to share these devotions with the entire congregation.
